The Zoo is proud to present The Gift of Lights, a holiday lights experience, efficiently powered by Indiana Michigan Power. The Gift of Lights will run Friday through Sunday, November 27 to December 20, 5 to 9 pm (last admission at 8:30). More than a million lights will be wrapped around trees and in free-standing displays.
The Zoo will close at 4 pm November 27-29 to prepare for the event (last admission at 3:30 pm).
The Congo Cafe will be open with hot chocolate, coffee, and a limited menu. The Otter Outpost will be open with snacks, beverages, and special seasonal adult drinks: mulled wine and spiked hot cocoa. State Fair Mini Donuts will also be available at the Otter Outpost.
The Polar Zoo Train tickets are $4 (over 2 years old) and come with a bell, golden sticker, and hot chocolate sample. The Zoo train will run as weather permits. The carousel will not be running in winter.
This year, the Gift Shop will be open in the new entrance building. Santa will be in the Gift Shop every night from 6-8 pm.
Tickets are available online or at the Zoo's entrance each open night.
Ticket pricing is as follows:
Regular adult (15+) ticket: $10
Regular child (3-14) ticket: $5
Children 2 and under are free.
Member adult: $7
Member child: $3

Sing your Holiday Greetings! Tuesdays, 7pm ET | 4pm PT $75 covers three 60-minute live online sessions
This holiday season, give the gift of your voice! This Christmas Song Workshop for Singers will help vocalists confidently sing these beloved Christmas songs in private performances for loved ones. The songs to be studied will include the following:
"I'll Be Home for Christmas"
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
"The Christmas Song"
"Merry Christmas, Darling"
This workshop will include an overview of the history of the songs, interpretive study of the texts and music, the application of vocal techniques that result in healthy and expressive singing, and opportunities to practice for a polished presentation. This will be a welcoming and supportive learning environment where participants can feel at ease singing for each other!
Access to practice accompaniments will be made available. Sheet music would need to be purchased separately (info provided upon enrollment).
